My 2 Favorite Pictures!
My Renaissance time period dress (simplicity 8735)
I am the model, my mom
is the photographer, we took just about 50 pictures, last sunday an were really lucky to get such nice weather.
Over 50 hours of work my first large scale sewing project, ever, and I had a blast, definelty want to do more!
The red fabric is a strong tapestry like fabric, the white under dress is a silky cotton, trims were bought (and were a major pain too).
Thats all I can think of saying about it, I cant wait to wear it on Halloween!

So cool! I've often seen that pattern flipping through the pattern books, and wanted it so bad! I can't sew, though. It's nice to see it done so beautifully!
